We are a privately owned used vehicle dealership based in Wellington for the last 25 years. We have prospered as a business for this long by following a simple philosophy; we offer quality vehicles at fair prices and back this up with exceptional service.

This attention to customer satisfaction has seen us win numerous used dealership awards and has resulted in one in every two cars sold by us being to a repeat or referral customer.

With four dealerships in Lower Hutt selling Electric, Hybrid, Petrol, Diesel, Performance and Prestige vehicles we are one of the largest independent dealers in the lower North Island. If the quality of your vehicle is important to you then you will not be disappointed.

With over 450 vehicles for sale at any given time we have something to suit all needs. We also offer extended warranties on all our vehicles, including an exclusive Electric/Hybrid battery warranty.

With Finance available on site and trade-ins welcome we try and make your buying experience as easy and enjoyable as possible.

I started Coventry cars in 1993 and was selling a lot of Jaguars and other exotic European cars and this is where the name Coventry came from.

Coventry Cars has now been involved in the retail motor industry for over 25 years and I am very proud of what we have achieved as a business in this time. We have sold over 22,000 vehicles and have thousands of loyal customers with over half of our 150 sales a month being to repeat or referred customers.

We have built our brand on quality and a fair deal, and I firmly believe that quality is the most important factor in being a successful dealership long term.

In 2017 we opened Wellington’s largest and first dedicated EV and Hybrid car centre, my intention was to provide the best selection possible and back this up with exceptional service and I am very proud of what we have achieved so far.

We are a 7 day a week business but are also a family orientated dealership and this shows in our staff retention, we believe that family comes first, and we work around each other’s family commitments as best as we can.

I am married to Donna, who is also involved in the business, and we have three beautiful children. I thoroughly enjoy my family and see this as my calling in life.
